Research shows that with intervention and support in early grades, children can become strong proficient readers! Your donation to Traveling Stories helps make this possible.
The Traveling Stories Virtual StoryTent program matches children in 1st-3rd grade with trained reading mentors for weekly, one-on-one reading sessions (aka storytimes!). Each week, children are introduced to new books and receive individualized support that helps them grow their reading level and confidence.
$7 helps fund 1 hour of one-on-one story time.

About Traveling Stories
Traveling Stories is a nonprofit organization founded in 2010 that empowers children to achieve their dreams. In response to COVID-19, we created a new program called the Virtual StoryTent. It matches children entering kindergarten through second grade with a reading mentor for weekly one-on-one video StoryTent sessions. The program focuses on providing personalized literacy support, mentorship, and goal setting skills.
